Day 1 - Transfer from the Airport

Day 2-3 Georgia tour:

Arrival to Tbilisi, Lunch, observing city tour and free evening in Tbilisi (overnight), Jvari Monastery, Château Mukhrani winery, Lunch and Khinkali master class, Mtskheta, back to Yerevan. This 2-day tour is an amazing chance to get the best of Georgia! Today it is by far the most visited country in the South Caucasus and it's easy to see why: the rich culture and astonishingly diverse landscapes make it an ideal destination for anyone loving history and nature on the grandest of scales.

Day 4 Dilijan (short stop), Lake Parz (Crystal), Deer park, Ijevan (Makaravank Monastery)

• Start your day by visiting Dilijan, take a short stop to explore the charming town. Stroll through the historic streets, visit local shops, and admire the traditional architecture. Dilijan is often referred to as the "Little Switzerland" of Armenia due to its scenic beauty and lush forests.

• Spend some time at Lake Parz, surrounded by forested mountains and crystal-clear waters. Take a leisurely walk around the lake. This tranquil setting offers an opportunity to relax and connect with nature.

• After visiting Lake Parz, head to the nearby Deer Park, also known as the Dilijan National Park. Explore the park's scenic trails, which are home to various wildlife species, including deer. Enjoy a peaceful walk through the forested paths and keep an eye out for glimpses of wildlife.

• Depart from Dilijan and make your way to Ijevan, a town known for its picturesque landscapes and cultural heritage. Upon arrival in Ijevan, visit the nearby Makaravank Monastery, a medieval Armenian monastery complex nestled amidst the forested hills. Explore the ancient church, chapels, and khachkars (cross-stones), and learn about the monastery's history and significance.

Day 5 Khor Virap Monastery, Noravank Monastery, Tatev Monastery (wayback on Wings of Tatev Ropeway)

• Start your day with a hearty breakfast in Yerevan to energize yourself for the day's adventures.

• After breakfast, depart from Yerevan and head towards Khor Virap Monastery. which holds significant historical and religious importance in Armenia. Enjoy panoramic views of Mount Ararat from the monastery grounds and learn about its fascinating history.

• Arrive at Noravank and spend the rest of the afternoon exploring this stunning medieval monastery complex. Admire the intricate stone carvings, visit the churches, and take in the breathtaking scenery of the surrounding red rock formations.

• Our last stop is Tatev Monastery complex, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its medieval architecture and stunning setting. Experience the Wings of Tatev Ropeway, one of the world's longest reversible aerial tramways. Enjoy a breathtaking ride over the Vorotan Gorge as you ascend to the Tatev Monastery complex.

Day 6 Echmiadzin (Hripsime, Gayane, Mother Cathedral – from outside, Museum Treasures of Echmiadzin), Zvartnots

• Start your day with a delicious breakfast at your accommodation.

• Begin your exploration of Echmiadzin with a visit to the Echmiadzin Cathedral, also known as the Mother Cathedral of the Armenian Apostolic Church. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is the oldest cathedral in Armenia and the spiritual center of the Armenian Apostolic Church. Marvel at its ancient architecture and learn about its rich history and significance.

• The next stops are the churches of St. Hripsime and St. Gayane, that are two of three churches in Echmiadzin, dedicated to the Christian women-martyrs who escaped from Rome with their abbess Gayane.

• There will be a visit to "Treasures of Echmiadzin" museum.

• Visit the ruins of Zvartnots Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site located just outside of Echmiadzin. This 7th-century Armenian cathedral once stood as a masterpiece of early medieval Armenian architecture. Explore the archaeological site and admire the intricate carvings and architectural elements that remain.
Day 7 Haghpat Monastery, Zarni-Parni Cave Complex, Akhtala Fortress, Aramyants Castle, Sanahin Monastery

• After breakfast start your day by departing from Yerevan towards Haghpat Monastery. Upon arrival at Haghpat, explore this UNESCO World Heritage Site, known for its medieval Armenian architecture and stunning location overlooking the Debed River gorge.

• Spend some time exploring the Zarni-Parni Cave Complex, which consists of several caves with fascinating rock formations and ancient petroglyphs. Learn about the
archaeological significance of the site and enjoy the natural beauty of the surrounding landscape.

• Explore the impressive medieval fortress of Akhtala, known for its well-preserved walls and unique frescoes dating back to the 10th century. Learn about the fortress's history as a strategic stronghold and its significance in Armenian history.

• After exploring Akhtala Fortress, make your way to Aramyants Castle, which offer panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Learn about the castle's history and its role in the region's defense during medieval times.

• Conclude your day with a visit to Sanahin Monastery, another UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its architectural significance and medieval Armenian art. Explore the monastery complex, which includes churches, chapels, and khachkars, and admire the intricate stone carvings and sculptures.
